Sterling International is a leader in Worldwide Environmental Remediation Services (WERS). We conduct operations for explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), battle area clearance (BAC), unexploded ordnance (UXO), abandoned ordnance (AO), hazardous ordnance (HO), and mine action operations. We proudly support the efforts of the U.S. Humanitarian Mine Action Program, which in the words of the U.S. Department of State: “provides increased humanitarian mine action assistance to countries suffering from the presence of persistent landmines, which maim and kill innocents, obstruct emergency assistance activities, hamper economic development, and impede free movement of citizens.” Our de-mining efforts remove the wastes of war, and our commitment to work with host nations and include local communities in the process helps stabilize regions scarred by armed conflict. |
